click the up coming document and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can handle different floors. Select models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without crashing into them, and was able to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down stairs in a single step. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. click the up coming document can hold enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be empty, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled whenever required. It comes with a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily removes most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, too, even though it does sometimes get hung up on the small rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual border in the application). Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation whenever required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping performance is augmented by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without stepping back. It can go from one room to another without having to change direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a thick space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and well-organized. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop settings and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, allowing you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. You'll require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach all dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners and on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It is simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it does not have mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to remove kitty litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home, which allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. This device also is able to collect more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the cost of using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. You can also mark areas you want to keep out of the app.
